Hello? Oh...

The song is made up of four chords that are played like this

    D    F#m   Bm     A
e|--2----2-----2----0--------------------------------------------|
B|--3----2-----3----2--------------------------------------------|
G|--2----2-----4----2--------------------------------------------|
D|--0----4-----4----2--------------------------------------------|
A|-------4-----2----0--------------------------------------------|
E|-------2-------------------------------------------------------|

Halfway through playing the A chord Ryan turns it into an A7 (we’re getting technical here people. This is achieved by adding a little finger to the e string on the third fret to make the A an A7 (please see below below). This is a fantastic little nuance that is used a lot in Cribs songs.

    A7
e|--3------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--2------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--2------------------------------------------------------------|
D|--2------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--0------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------|

          D                         F#m
With your knife and your bottle and silver spoon
Bm                       A
No one knows what you're going to do
          D            F#m              Bm          A
So stay away from everything that isn't true
             D                F#m
Cause when I hung around with someone else
Bm              A
Take your anger off the shelf
       D                     F#m               Bm
And arrange it in a way that no one else could do
    A
But you

                D                 F#m
Cause if you're dying I'd like to know
              Bm               A
And if you're on one I need to show
               D                F#m
Cause you were saying you was alone
             Bm                    A
Well there's something you need to know

    D               F#m
I'm sixteen and I'm really bored
           Bm
"But we're not going to use you we're
     D                  A
just scared we're gonna lose you"
D                 F#m             Bm
Things are better when you are on board
    A
I'm sure

              D                 F#m
But if you're dying I'd like to know
              Bm               A
And if you're on one I need to show
               D              F#m
Cause you were saying you was alone
             Bm                    A
Well there's something you need to know
              D            F#m
That you will always be my hero
         Bm                      A
With the way that you're letting go
             D              F#m
And you were saying you was alone
             Bm                    A
Well there's something you need to know
